Meet our Staff

Our Senior Leadership Team provides strategic direction and day-to-day leadership across the school. They are responsible for driving high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring safeguarding and inclusion, and supporting staff and pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes in line with Trust priorities.

• t’s a privilege to be a leader at Wisewood. After eleven years of teaching here, I’m incredibly proud of our children and staff. As an Early Years specialist, I’m passionate about helping children build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning, as well as offering wider opportunities beyond the classroom. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the stables with my dog, Bracken, and my horse, Adam, exploring the countryside together.

• I chose teaching as a career because I believe education is an immensely powerful tool, and it is a true privilege to help shape young minds. I love working with children, celebrating their unique strengths, and fostering a genuine love of learning each day. Outside of work, I spend my time at gym, on the rugby pitch or finding a nice spot for coffee!

• I joined Wisewood as a newly qualified teacher and was drawn to the school's family and community feel. It has been a great pleasure to grow with the school and be part of the school's innovative leadership team. My heart is in the personal development of our children. Academic and wider experiences to give all children at Wisewood experiences and opportunities that are the stepping stones to happy and successful future.

Our teachers are committed professionals who deliver high-quality teaching and learning for all pupils. They plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons, assess progress effectively, and work closely with colleagues and families to support every child’s academic and personal development.

Our Learning Support Assistants play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing. They work alongside teachers to provide targeted support, help remove barriers to learning, and ensure pupils feel safe, confident, and able to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Our support staff ensure the smooth and effective running of the school. From administration and site management to catering and pastoral support, they provide essential services that enable a safe, welcoming, and well-organised environment for pupils, staff, and families.
