Our school clubs play a vital role in enriching children’s experiences beyond the classroom. They offer pupils the chance to explore new interests, discover hidden talents, and build confidence in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Whether it’s sports, arts, music, coding, or science, clubs allow children to learn in hands‑on, creative ways that spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning. They also encourage teamwork, resilience, and independence—skills that help pupils thrive both in and out of school.

Parents and pupils alike value Wisewood’s sense of community. Clubs are not just activities—they are spaces where friendships grow, confidence blossoms, and children feel proud of what they achieve. The school’s commitment to providing high‑quality extracurricular opportunities shows in the enthusiasm of the pupils who attend and the positive culture that surrounds every club.

If you are a parent and would like to discuss how you can get involved and support a club or afterschool activity please contact Ms Southern: rsouthern@wisewood.sheffield.sch.uk

Musical Theatre Club is an opportunity for our students to express themselves creatively and participate in an all inclusive choir. This club runs after-school and works towards an end of year performance. All children from Y2-Y6 are welcome to join this popular club.

A special thank you to our sponsors HoodieHut who generously donated the T-shirts for our club.

This popular club runs during the Spring and Summer Term. Children from Reception to Y6 are welcome to sign up for this club. We have been lucky enough to have support from parent volunteers and a Dfe representative for climate and sustainability in action.

We are lucky to have a number of music specialists on our staff team. This club is open for children from Y3-Y6 and runs at lunchtime. The children work towards a recital in the Spring term. You can look forward to some tuneful practise at home.

We are proud to have an active and enthusiastic cross-country club for our KS2 children. Each week we have a training session where we practise interval training, sprint sets and endurance. The children are invited to the join the season of races held across the city. This is a hugely popular event and hundreds of children from around Sheffield participate in the opportunity to run, race and battle for the city's top spots!
