Welcome to the Robin's Class

Your teachers is Ms Kerr

Did you know?

When Ms Kerr isn’t in the classroom, she loves exploring the world through her camera.
Photography lets her capture interesting moments, experiment with creativity, and notice the little details that often go unseen. It’s a hobby that keeps her curious and inspired — and sometimes those snapshots spark brilliant ideas for lessons and classroom activities!

Year 4 is a vibrant and inspiring place where children build confidence, independence and a love for learning.

Pupils are encouraged to challenge themselves, think deeply and work creatively as they explore exciting new topics across the curriculum.

The classroom is full of teamwork and positivity, where everyone supports each other and celebrates their strengths. With engaging lessons, hands-on activities and plenty of opportunities to shine,

Year 4 is a fantastic year filled with growth, curiosity and memorable learning experiences.

We are very committed to building strong home / school links. We know that education is the most effective when there is a positive partnership between home and school.

In Robins Class:

  • Children are encouraged to read every night and at least 3 times weekly with an adult.
  • We ask that parents question them about their reading and support children in extending their vocabulary.
  • Spelling and maths activities (often with a ‘Times Table’ focus) are set every week.
  • We ask parents to work with and support their children with these activities.

Useful equipment to have at home:

  • Pens
  • Pencils
  • Ruler
  • Colouring Pencils
  • Dictionary
  • Thesaurus
