Welcome to the Foxes Class

Your teachers is Ms Lowe

Did you know?

Ms Lowe loves music and even plays in a brass band
When they’re not teaching, you might find them rehearsing beautiful melodies, performing at concerts, or marching proudly with their band. Playing in a brass band helps them stay creative, work as part of a team, and share the joy of music with others.

Year Three is an exciting step, where learning becomes even more adventurous, challenging and fun. Our classroom is a place where children grow in independence, confidence and curiosity as they explore new ideas and skills.

Each day is filled with opportunities to discover—whether through reading and writing, hands‑on maths, creative projects, scientific investigations or exploring the world around us. We love asking questions, solving problems and working together to achieve our best.

Our learning environment is welcoming, supportive and full of enthusiasm. We encourage everyone to be kind, determined and proud of their achievements, celebrating progress in all its forms.

In Year Three, learning feels purposeful, engaging and exciting. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year of creativity, teamwork and new challenges ahead.

We are very committed to building strong home / school links. We know that education is the most effective when there is a positive partnership between home and school.

In Foxes Class:

  • Children are encouraged to read every night and at least 3 times weekly with an adult.
  • We ask that parents question them about their reading and support children in extending their vocabulary.
  • Spelling and maths activities (often with a ‘Times Table’ focus) are set every week.
  • We ask parents to work with and support their children with these activities.

Useful equipment to have at home:

  • Pens
  • Pencils
  • Ruler
  • Colouring Pencils
  • Dictionary
  • Thesaurus
